Boiling the EAM Ocean
Implementing Maximo is more than just downloading software, accepting defaults, and enjoying a relatively nice bug-free product. Implementing a major Enterprise Solution, however, is a different effort altogether. And, implementing it across 14 diverse asset groups is an effort in planning, cooperation, and reaction to the unanticipated to name just a few. This presentation will take a light hearted look at RosevilleÂ’s work to implement Maximo as its Enterprise Asset Management solution. We will concentrate on the relatively large objective and the transformation change required and the experience along the way. We will compare and contrast these experiences with those of others in attendance who have implemented Maximo and see if there is a right size implementation and approach for future reference.
